Ad inventory can be programmatically sold through ad exchanges or real-time bidding, supporting diverse ad formats such as banners, videos, and playable ads. Publishers can sell ad inventory directly or utilize intermediaries like networks or exchanges. It's important to note that ad inventory extends beyond websites and includes in-app ads, connected TV (CTV) streaming devices, and over-the-top (OTT) TV streaming media apps.
